Disposable Camera Developing

Mail your disposable camera from anywhere in the US or drop it off at our Brooklyn lab. Professional C-41 processing with high-resolution scans on our Noritsu HS-1800. We've been developing disposable cameras since 1994.

Where can I get a disposable camera developed?

You can get a disposable camera developed at a professional film lab — either by dropping it off in person or mailing it in from anywhere in the US. Well-known drugstores also accept disposable cameras, but they ship them to third-party facilities that use automated processing with lower-resolution scans and no individual attention. Professional labs deliver higher-resolution scans with frame-by-frame color correction. Disposable cameras contain standard 35mm C-41 color film, so any lab that processes film can handle them. At Kubus Photo Service, we process disposable cameras in-house with the same care as every roll of film.

Disposable Cameras We Develop

Color Disposable Cameras (C-41)

  • Kodak FunSaver
  • Fujifilm QuickSnap
  • Solo Disposable Camera
  • Solo H20 Underwater Camera
  • Yashica Single Use Camera
  • Ilford XP2 (C-41 B&W)
  • Wedding & event disposables
  • Old or expired disposable cameras

B&W Disposable Cameras

  • Ilford HP5 Plus 400

Note: Traditional B&W disposables require different chemistry than color. Not all labs process these—we do.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to develop a disposable camera?
Professional lab developing for a disposable camera typically costs $14-22, which includes development and digital scans. This is comparable to drugstore pricing but with significantly higher scan quality and individual color correction for each frame.
How long does it take to develop a disposable camera?
At Kubus Photo, standard turnaround is 4-6 business days from when your camera arrives. Rush processing (same-day or next-day) is available for an additional fee. For mail-in orders, add 2-3 days shipping each direction.
Can you develop old disposable cameras?
Yes, we develop old and expired disposable cameras regularly. The film inside may have degraded over time, producing color shifts, increased grain, or lower contrast, but we can usually still process it and recover images. We process hundreds of forgotten disposable cameras every year.
Do you develop black and white disposable cameras?
Yes. We process both C-41 color disposables (Kodak FunSaver, Fuji QuickSnap) and traditional B&W disposables (Ilford HP5, Kodak Tri-X). B&W disposables require different chemistry than color, and not all labs offer this service.
What do I receive when my disposable camera is developed?
You receive high-resolution digital scans delivered via email download link, along with your developed negatives. Archival sleeving is available as an add-on to keep your negatives protected. Prints are also available as an optional add-on.
Can I mail in my disposable camera for developing?
Absolutely. Our mail-in service accepts disposable cameras from anywhere in the US. Wrap your camera in bubble wrap, ship it to us, and we'll process it with the same care as an in-store drop-off. Free shipping to our lab on orders of 4+ cameras or film rolls.
Is it better to develop a disposable camera at a drugstore or a professional lab?
Professional labs deliver noticeably better results. Drugstores ship cameras to third-party facilities that use automated processing with no individual attention. Professional labs process in-house with frame-by-frame color correction and higher-resolution scans.
Do I get my disposable camera back after developing?
The plastic camera shell cannot be reassembled after opening, but you receive your developed film negatives, which are the actual originals. Your negatives can be rescanned at any time for different sizes or formats.
